If you've never put your hand in a flame than how could one explain the dangers of a flame? Many knew Enron was a fraud at the time for the EXACT same reasons outlined in this piece. What you're saying, to someone like me, is that you've never encountered a scammer and/or have no idea how they operate. They don't see themselves as scammers, btw. That's the big problem. They truly believe what they're doing is the same as everyone else--until things crash--and journalists write books about how they weren't doing the same stuff as everyone else.
