I'll have to read through your back stories! Don't get me wrong, I am in awe of Spielberg's talent (starting with Duel). Empire of the Sun is also one of my favs. He's probably one of the greatest children's film filmmakers ever; perhaps why he tries to overcompensate in stuff he has no business in. In that regard, I guess I should be happy he did WSS instead of another WWII pic ;)
