I'm always amused by all this talk of "freedom" these days. Freedom is what gets you fired. You can't be free, as you were becoming, without making someone else (at Forbes) feel more trapped. Someone who doesn't have your confidence in themselves, or skill, whatever. What you take for granted, even view as painful, stressful, others view as betrayal, judgment. "Forbes isn't good enough for you?"

Weren't you a bit naïve? No matter, for the best I'm sure! One thing is true, once you've tasted freedom it's hard to go back.
