I'm as up for some IMF bashing as the next guy, but portraying the IMF as "White Empire" colonialism is a bit outdated. As an American, I only WISH that was the case--only because it makes the world seem orderly, even if sometimes unfairly.

It is only recently that China has had money to lend. Why worry about the IMF? They're not who you're going to struggle paying back in the next recession. Once you go through a full cycle with the Chinese then, and only then, can you judge the IMF, right?
