I'm going to write a whole story when I can, to opine on your comment. Here's one question. If you were living anywhere in the world where you couldn't get an mRNA shot what would you think of the U.S. vaccine then? I wager you'd want it, you'd do most anything to get it. People want what they can't have.
Many Americans are spoiled beyond belief. They want to exercise their freedom to NOT take the vaccine when most people on the planet look at the ability to GET the vaccine as real freedom, freedom from getting sick and dying. Freedom is always relative.
Vanguard is basically a shareholder owned company. The fees are much lower than the rest of the industry. If you look at the Johnson Family, who owns Fidelity, then you can see real concentrated wealth.
I wish it was a spiritual battle. But I feel mostly envy, spite and elitism.
