I'm gonna start copying your comments and putting my name on them as stories ;) Yes, the Ruble isn't going to become a reserve currency in my lifetime. My point is that it will allow resource rich nations another way to trade amongst themselves. It will weaken the Dollar. But you're probably right, every time in my life something has threatened to weaken the dollar it ended up stronger.
