I'm not a good writer. I write to figure out how things work. I would never tell someone what they said was false if they hadn't explained their thinking at some length. I certainly wouldn't tell them anything they did was terrible, unless a close friend and they needed my frank opinion.

Write what you believe is true, Elizabeth, and I believe you might be more sympathetic to what I'm up against. We might even become best friends! One never knows.
