I'm not happy about it. I don't like it that we left Afghanistan or what we turn a blind eye to in Yemen. But your article is a total hate piece. You think Americans were bad to Afghanistan? Read what Russia did when it occupied, it will make American seem all warm and fuzzy.

It's not their money, as someone commented below. Also, Afghanistan's Taliban, just like Sri Lanka, doesn't have to buy anything from International markets. You don't have a Forex problem, you have an entitlement problem.

Sri Lanka has an above average Gini Coefficient, around 40. How about criticizing your own country?

We take in many immigrants for political reasons--like thousands of Afghanis. How many does Sri Lanka take in? Your country only wants immigrants with money.

Again, I'm not happy about America leaving Afghanistan. I wasn't happy in how it was managed either. If the Taliban want international money they have to do the work to earn it--more rights for women. Is that too much to F'ing ask?. Of course, Afghanistan is NOT the Taliban. What do you suggest America do?

Be part of the solution, not part of the problem.
