California is expensive because that's where smart people go and where smart people go things get expensive. It's amazing to me you have all these prestigious degrees but you're like a country bumkin in this respect.

You're a competitive, conceited, arrogant elitist. I say that with love. Go where people will appreciate and pay for it.

No kid has a career. Their parents have a career for them. Not judging. It's great that your kids are in a disciplined, competitive structure. But what if they decide they want to go to Stanford for engineering? Are they setup for that? Complex pull-your-hair out stuff.

Seriously, I don't understand why it is even a conversation between you and your wife.
