Iran was a threat to the U.S. petrodollar so Israel offered to bully Iran, put pressure on it, in return for weapons. Not telling you anything you don't know. Netanyahu (and others in on the scheme) have repeated that Iran is threat so many times practically the whole Israeli nation is brainwashed into believing it so.

I forget the survey, but I believe only 1% of Americans view Iran as a national security threat.

In the past decade or so the U.S. has lost interest in the Middle East. Listening to Israelis (or brainwashed American Jews) you'd think 1979 was yesterday ;) Or 1939.

If Israeli could un-brainwash themselves they would realize, since the U.S. leaving the region is a forgone conclusion, they need to make peace with Palestinians. They need to recognize the U.S. might reduce military support for Egypt too. What would that mean!!! Again, don't have to tell you any of this.

Saudi Arabia is making peace with Iran because the U.S. has reduced military support. Again, all this right out in the open.

I don't want to sound like I'm beating up on Israel. The U.S. is due for some hard realities too. Its military is built to combat fantasy wars from the cold war. As we can see in the Red Sea, it can't protect sea lanes. It's just a matter of time before all that becomes clear to everyone.
