Is there a uncensored media in mainland China? Please point me to Chinese media that explains all the structures and reported missing people by relatives living abroad. But yes, I have not been to Xinjiang and do not know the “real situation” there. Anyway, my article isn’t really about what’s going on in Xinjiang. It’s about the perception of Hong Kongers and the West of CCP authoritarianism and how far it might be taken. Further, I recognize that Xinjiang is a complex situation. I am not anti-China.
