Israel Ceasefire is Imminent
Mainstream Media Independent Thinking At Its Finest
Why would Israel release details of a friendly-fire incident soon after it happened? Do you believe independent reporters witnessed the event? I don’t see how that’s possible since Israel lets very few into Gaza and those who get in aren’t allowed to witness battles. Do you believe the IDF, unlike every military in the history of mankind, is now transparent?
Israel is giving itself an excuse to pause the fighting.
No, it didn’t purposely shoot the hostages, but it quickly realized it was a way to sell a ceasefire without looking weak to the hawks. Or maybe it was only a faction within Israel’s government who released the story. In any case, the IDF can now pause the fighting because “the public insists we protect future hostages from coming under friendly fire”. They haven’t said that yet, but will.
Israel will also use the break to remove Netanyahu from power. Two predictions for the price of one ;)
Whenever someone releases news they’d normally view as a major f-up, there’s also a political motive greater than that of humiliation.
