ISW doesn't want to lose access to its various DoD, etc. contacts. They sucked it up on this one. It doesn't matter enough to make a stand. I'd have done the same if I was them. Further, the truth might lead to WWIII so they have that to consider too.

I'm not arguing a conspiracy theory. I'm just laying out the facts no one denies. 1) Iran has ballistic missiles difficult to shoot down which could do serious damage to anything they fired them at, like cities in Israel (disagree, please explain). 2) Iran said they were attacking (at least days before to the U.S.). 3) After the failed attack Iran said it was over and they wouldn't do more.

What conspiracy? The theater wasn't hidden. All one has to do is put wishful thinking aside.
