It takes time to prove every financial expert and specialist wrong ;) Plenty is happening. Look at the growing homeless populations. Look at unemployment claims data. Look at municipal borrowing. Look at supply-chain problems. The crash hasn't happened yet because like Earthquakes, impossible to predict when.

Plenty of people, like me, saw the 2000 and 2008 crash coming and they too lived through years of "yet nothing happens" and "it's different this time".
