Will Others Pay For Our Energy Anxieties Too?

I’ve been extraordinarily busy with work. So much I want to write. Every day, up at 4 am, obsessed with a project. It’s 8:48 pm. Sleep will overtake me. A little whiskey in my soda. Let me write this out quickly and be done with it.

The world is getting poorer. For me, the turning point was around 2015.

God doesn’t come down and tell us, “The good times are over.” Even if he did most would answer, “Malthus said the same. The World is Ending! Nothing new. You don’t fool us. We’ll figure it out.”

Who were the Jews that the Nazis killed? Were they like the Hasidic Jews in upstate New York, or like the “reform” Jews working on Wall Street or Hollywood? Why did the Jews who escaped the Holocaust feel no survivor’s guilt? Was it because the Jews who were killed in Europe were foreign to them? Or maybe they did feel shame and guilt? Or maybe they didn’t know what to feel because, well, most of them had escaped Germany long before the Nazis got serious about a final solution.
