Of course, I can't bet on that through all the propaganda and too few data points. Anyway, Russia is trying as hard as it can to control all of the Donbas and control the complete Southern coastline. I see no progress. I don't know why so many people believe Russia is "winning".
I see parallels to the collapse of the Soviet Union. Some saw at the that Russia was completely broke and socially falling apart, but most kept believing it a lie. It's just couldn't be true. Then one day it was.
