Nice ideas just don't look up from your coffee at all the SUVs and trucks barreling down the street. Or people heating and cooling 6,000 foot homes with a get-around-town prius.

People over the age of 60 remember the oil shock of the 70s, all the talk of economizing, etc. There was the "Whole Earth Catalogue" many efforts to save the planet.

Guess what I'm saying is, sure, tell your friends. When I was young my friends heard it too--and went out and bought Hummers ;)
