When I saw CHL in my early twenties the quote I remembered was "What we have here is a failure to communicate". When I rewatched it in my 50s it is the quote you mentioned. That movie can be interpreted in many ways.

If you haven't watched "Bad Day At Black Rock" probably one of the greatest movie lines, in that one. Let me know if you haven't seen it, don't plan on watching it, and I will get annoying--until you do ;)
