No one starts a war to win a war. Wars are fought for political objectives and winning isn't always necessary to achieve them. For example, Russia didn't get all of Georgia or the Donbas when it started those "wars" but it succeeded in weakening Ukraine anyway. The difference today is Putin bit off more than he could chew.
Most of your stories are way smarter than me and well written. I'm the first to agree U.S. foreign policy is a clusterfuck and hot-mess. But for all its issues, little of what you write applies.
Think it through. Since Greek times there have always been super-powers. The U.S. didn't invent the stuff you accuse it of. The issues are complex and super-powers don't have real debt to anyone but themselves.
