Oh Simon! This movie is as relevant today--maybe even more so--than it was when it was made. They could re-shoot the script today word for word but make the killed man a South American immigrant in a white Texas town and it would play perfectly.

"A man is only big as the things that make him mad" It doesn't get any better than that.

Lee Marvin fought in WWII. Dealt with that racism first hand. I love Tracey but without Marvin the movie would have suffered greatly.
