Once any aircraft goes off its "global" maintenance schedule, system, it can never fly outside Russia again without super expensive recertification. That's a serious problem. Time is not on Russia's side.

The sanctions can have many unintended consequences as you point out. I'm hoping Putin is removed ASAP and things can go back to normal. Every day I hope to wake up to that news. We don't really want those sanction to kick in. I think that's what you're saying. If so, I agree.
