One of my favorites too. But sorry, dear chap, it is clickbait. A more accurate summary is there's no place, no matter how remote, where humans can create a healthy English/religious society.
If there was sexual repression there would have been some resolution towards that, but you know that never happens.
One nun believe in the idealism of the church. Another nun believes in a man. And the man--this is where the Pressburgers go genius mode--is the most cluless of them all!
In most other films the unrequitted love would happen between the idealistic nun and pratical man (and in a case some of that happens in this film). But the Pressburgers aren't interested in that. They tease you a bit with it (clickbat in their time), but they have deeper depths to go.
