or not "converted" ;) I have a simple policy. I don't vote for people who drop bombs on my ass or shoot at me while I driving to liquor store 'cause where else would I drive during a war. Call me shallow haha I know, you'll say. THAT'S EXACTLY what those in Donbas think about Ukraine.

My question is, if Russia had not sent any green men would those who live in the Donbas naturally have gone to war with each other? And if they did, are they still alive or interested in this conflict?

Further, why would Ukraine care that much how those people identify? The North and South in the U.S., as everywhere, has differences, has talk of succession, etc. In the U.S. the civil war wasn't about identification, or slavery as a moral thing (more like an economic issue). I guess what I'm asking you is why is the Donbas so important to Russia or Ukraine? That they go to war over it?

If it wasn't for Chechnya, Georgia and Syria it would be easier for me to give Putin the benefit of the doubt. Just babbling here. THANKS FOR link.
