Perhaps to some cold-war hawks, however many are left. Europe wants the gas. They want stability. The U.S. wants stability too. Everyone is having internal problems. Russia has already been severly weakened. If it pulled out of Ukraine tomorrow it would continue to decline for years ahead.

Russia went into Ukraine and tortured and killed thousands. Destroyed their cities. Stole their grain and everything else they could. No one wants to see Russia weakened more than Ukraine. No one.
