Plenty of comments now ;) I don't know anything about the science of it, but just off the top of my head, is S02 transported around the planet in the same high-level winds as CO2? If there is a mismatch, quite possible it makes matters even worse because, as you've pointed out (I should keep a reference card for your stories), it's more than just warming we need to worry about, it's feedback loops we don't understand. SO2 would be very risky in that regard.

I believe what you wrote months ago, that there's a good chance we're going to experience one of those feedback events in the next 5 years.

Anyway, the world doesn't listen to scientists about climate change so they're not going to all get on board, and pay for, geoengineering, at least, not until a billion people are dead.

Trump only said in public what was already going on, behind the scenes, between the U.S. and China. I too believe we're in WWIII.
