Sanders isn't saying you can't work 80 hours a week. I think it's a dumb post, but your son's post is scary because it's parroting Republican propaganda. Sanders suggestion may advocate "socialism", but it's doesn't make him a "socialist" in the prerogative sense. Anyway, he's a Democrat, and guys like him don't "give out welfare and then inflation happens." In a sense, you and your son had the same reaction.

Why isn't your reaction, "what is the connection between welfare and inflation?" What is a "socialist"? Has Bernie sanders, or his party, prevent ed us from immigrating and owning property or businesses in America?
