"Some" doesn't do it for me because the idea at the time was to isolate and wait for a vaccine. The counter-argument was that isolation would create long-term societal (and economic) problems that might make Covid seem the lesser of evils. I believe then, and even more so today, that isolation creating the conditions for the Ukraine invasion, the mess in Israel, and war will continue to spread for decades. Partly from further, almost exponential increased in wealth inequality and partly from a break down in communications (diplomacy).

That said, I believe the effort to create vaccines was the correct one, I happily took them, tried to convince others to do the same. Their argument at the time was they don't trust the government. Now that the pandemic is over I agree with them. The government signed over too much liability and transparency to the pharma companies. I understand why they did it. But when Rishi Sunak gets up and says "unequivocally the Covid vaccine is safe" Is he a doctor, scientists, expert? How can ANYONE know this. Perhaps in 10 or 20 years. https://youtu.be/m2skKkRwYj8?si=ssYKw4XM3Q-7Wiie&t=96

Here is my question. Before giving anyone the vaccine shouldn't the government have prepared the effort to answer these questions? Perhaps they have and you can point to where.

o. For each age group, segmented in co-morbidities, segmented in time periods, further segmented in variants, what was the percentage of death comparing groups segmented by vaccine type, manufacturer, and non-vaccinated.

With current computer technology and cell phones this would have been, trust me, trivial. Yes, some regulatory stuff. But IF the government can provide the manufacturers blanket immunity from law suits they could do the same for health organization data collection.

Good luck getting the answers. (I predict the more you try the more you'll experience the same frustrations I, and many others have.)
