…ow banning people or writers who object to the status quo are the marks of fascism — not democracy. If people or readers do not have the intellect or the knowledge to defend their belief systems, the answer is not to shadow ban writers, but to question why readers cannot defend what they think. The pieces must be published. The voices must be heard. That is what real democracy is about.
