Sorry to disagree. The only legislation that will move towards a sustainable world would be that which limits consumption.

There is no replacement for the amount of oil/gas we use in industrial manufacturing and transportation. Windmills/or solar 1) require massive fossils to build and 2) don't generate enough energy for most industrial uses.

People don't want to cut back, naturally. So they buy into the fantasy that future renewables will allow them to maintain their energy energy consumption lifestyles.

The problem is not the oil companies. It's the consumer. Blaming Trump might make someone feel good, but it does nothing to alter our climate change trajectory.

Even today, China has a surplus of cheap EVs we can buy but Biden put a 100% tariff on them. Yet no one calls Biden out on that?
