Thanks as always! That CSIS piece was as accurate as an analyst could hope for. I had already watched Operator Starsky’s video. It’s taken me 3 months but I believe I’m finally beginning to get it. I’ve always seen the broad strokes about Russia, but this war really brings them home.

What I find remarkable is the patience of Ukraine and Russia’s surrounding unhappy states. They could attack Russia now, which it’s distracted, but seems they all have “revenge is a dish best served cold” on their mind. Every day Russia degrades some more. Seems they’re doing the right thing, sitting on their hands. But it must be killing them to do so ;) Do you think that’s right?
