My Father, by the way, never gave us kids any money. His 2nd wife, who is my sister's age, got everything. Unlike you, I knew something like that would happen at a very early age!

My brother, sister and I developed an aversion to money for money's sake early on. At his core, my Dad was an artist. The desire for money and status ruined his life He came from a Jewish family which, common at that time, felt shame at being poor. To my grandmother "he's a millionaire" was the highest compliment. So, as I said the last time, I didn't walk in his shoes so I try to be understanding.

I could write a whole book about my parents. However, I hope you keep writing because I'd rather read about yours!
