Thanks for the long comment. I'm writing from the perspective of a 62-year-old half Jew male. That's why I talk about "reform" vs orthodox which doesn't have much meaning outside the U.S. and possibly Europe?

You talk about many deep and interesting things. But not of the guilt Jews feel for leaving their families in Europe to Hitler's "Final Solution." Or does that guilt not exist? If so, why?
