Thanks for your observations as a Frenchman! "threatened" is too strong a word. I should say France sees no benefit in it.

I and others have ranted on the nuclear energy topic. I just want to make sure you know I am in the 100% nuclear energy is God's gift to humanity. It is the answer as much as Jesus was ;) It isn't the whole solution because it only generates electricity. The world depends on gas/oil for fertilizer, amonia, etc., Most "save the planet" people have their hearts 100% in the right place, but they are STONE COLD STUPID. All slept through physics class. What they want is going to lead to the deaths of billions. But they won't think the physics of what they want through. I wish I could say I am exagerrating for effect. Yes, I'm an American ;)
