Thanks Marianius. I see that, but don't believe it (which is insanity I know, having never been there ore followed it until recently). I mean, if Russia sent little green men to my town and asked me if I wanted to become Russian I'd probably say yes. I'm not giong to fight over it. Most people won't. The big question is what do most people want there? What percentage? The young, the old?

I'm not blind to the fact that when Ukraine keeps talking about civilians who can't get out of cities in the East those civilians don't WANT to go. They feel Russia is their people. But let's say I accept all you say. Much of Donbas and Crimea want to remain/become Russian.

Does Russia care about them any more than the Ukrainians? I believe the answer is no because they've had every opportunity to get a more legally binding ownership to that part of Donbas and Crimea. Well, I guess the Russians in Donbas would say "nobody's perfect" ;)

I'm going to edit my document to reflect what you wrote. THANKS!
