That used to be my way of thinking too. But no more. Having ~60 nukes Israel is no longer under a national threat. Not to mention F-35s, etc. Israel has tried to deal with their poor population on the cheap (as most nations do). Sure, there are outside influences like Iran making it more difficult. But I think we've come to a point of asking the question: how much of this is Iran's fault and how much Israel's?
