That’s a separate story I completely agree with. People forget there are two expenses associated with real estate. 1) the purchase and accompanying mortgage and 2) the upkeep, which is variable with inflation and economic conditions. Everyone is focusing on 1. Like you say #2 will bite and bite hard.
