That's speculation. Perhaps. Perhaps if Israeli allowed Hamas to build an airport in Gaza it would import in tanks, etc. Perhaps if they build roads between the West Bank and Gaza it would increase terrorism. Or perhaps all that...not.

The Israeli propaganda all my life had me thinking like that--no solution but getting rid of the Palestinians. Now I look at photos of kibbutz be'eri and it's obvious to me Israel bombed those houses with hostages inside (why would Hamas stay there otherwise?).

I couldn't handle the truth before. For complex reasons I don't have to explain to you, Israelis have chosen one evil over the other. But I'll no longer defend one "solution" over the other. I don't see the calculus you do. Sorry.
