The irony here is, may I say, delicious. The Russian soldiers making videos appealing to the public for weapons, training and other support really mines the depths of human stupidity. They expect support from the same people who can't even hold up a blank piece of paper without being arrested. Where men, not connected to the right people, are physically thrown on buses to the front? They believe THOSE Russians back home are going to somehow politically get their requests met?

BTW, I believe the same thing happened in Iraq. As the U.S. withdrew private security companies took over the oil resources.
