The only plane Heart Aerospace has gotten off a runway is a 1:5 scale, basically toy airplane. United didn't "order" anything. They only said they would buy 100 planes if it had certain performance characteristics. Heart Aerospace is not even close. Not even remotely close.

What "will soon be a reality", in my opinion, is electric powered planes are decades, maybe centuries away from being feasible. I'm sorry if that sounds Debbie-Downer, but that's the current state of the technology if you read the technical reports instead of the marketing literature.
