The right question is how AI will change our lives as it replaces other ways of doing things. Will our papers be graded by AI? Will all customer support be replaced by it? (already moving in that direction). Will it be used to shape public opinion in ways only imagined in science fiction? Will people become friends with it, like "Her"? Will technical development become even more specialized, or democratized?
