The U.S. "woke up" a while ago, when it started to ignore Syria, leave Iraq, then Afghanistan. Deep ties to Israel on joint defense projects have made leaving "Israel" more difficult.

But it's just a matter of time. Israel would have done better to provide Palestinians more opportunity, greater freedoms.

Instead, it is trying to prove it has the muscle the U.S. needs...for what? What does Israel have that the U.S. needs? That anyone needs? It's a small country, diluting down to a group of ethnic nutjobs.

Israel is also a triple apartheid nation. First the rich Jews in Tel Aviv and Haifa, next the middle class which gets poorer and poorer, and finally the Haredi and Arabs who (well who cares, right)?

The most overlooked problem of Israel is that its standard of living has been artificially high. Diaspora Jews who had money are dying off. Young Jews want nothing to do with Israel.

Iran has oil. Everyone wants oil. Israel has fighter jets and bombs. Once they run out Israel has nothing to buy them with. It has killed its golden goose, tech.

Israel is done.
