The US Government also awarded Starlink a contract based on meeting the demand of the under-served, but they pulled it when Starlink didn't deliver. It might be the same for the lunar lander. These contracts are SUPER PROVISIONAL.

There's no rea money to be made from the moon stuff IMO. At least not for decades to come.

I agree SpaceX will do fine without him. He rarely seems to talk about the Falcon, or the real SpaceX business. It's mostly Starship which I think they fund to keep him quiet. It seems a hobby project to me. If I'm running SpaceX I figure if he succeeds, great, if he doesn't, we have our Falcon tech.

I don't believe it will succeed, as I wrote. Only because he's trying to do too much too fast. Again, I would be very HAPPY if it does work! It would be a game changer. No argument there!
