The West Knew About Kursk

The U.S. and Ukraine Make Good Use of a Lame Duck President

I haven’t been writing about the Ukraine war or Israel because it’s exhausting and depressing. All the wasted lives, destroyed homes and future hardships await.

Until five minutes ago I believed the U.S. claims, that it knew nothing about the Kursk invasion. No matter how hard I try, I can’t escape the common narrative.

Then it hit me.

If the U.S. didn’t know of the invasion wouldn’t it immediately call for a ceasefire and talks? Remember all the worry about Putin using nuclear weapons? Putin has always said he’d use them if Russia was facing an existential threat. Well, here it is!

Did he change his mind?

Do we no longer care?

Was the risk of nuclear war always propaganda?

The West knew of the invasion and greenlit it for this reason— I believe.

The West is in secret talks with insiders in the Putin regime. They have assured the West that nuclear weapons will not be used; that Putin has been isolated.

We know Putin is isolated because he had no quick military solution to the invasion.
