There is no what-about-ism here. The subject IS Taiwan, Lithuania, China and the U.S.

As for Cuba. I don't agree with the U.S. policy towards Cuba at this late date, but I understand why it exists.

Castro nationalized all business in Cuba. Many of those business were owned by United States citizens or even Cubans who relied on other countries to run their business. Should Cuba get to nationalize company A from the U.S. (which someone outside capitalized) and then do business with company B (from the U.S.) on their terms?

It's NOT an easy answer. What happened is the Cuban businessmen who left Cuba and emigrated to the U.S. told their U.S. representatives to severe relations with the Castro regime. And that what happened. One policy so Castro couldn't have his cake and eat it too.

Capitalist countries work together to prevent "communist" regimes from cherry picking what they want and setting all the rules for what they'll buy or not.

Would you invest your time and effort in a business that was "nationalized" (taken) by someone else. If you did, what would you want YOUR government to do to the people who stole it from you?

I don't want to paint this as good and evil. There's plenty of bullshit to go around. But you have it all wrong. It isn't the U.S. that is the bully. It's just a large mafia that tries to keep peace between all the assholes through a strong legal system. The bullies are those who believe they can break the rules of the uber-mafia and still be part of the club.

You're in or out. Lately, Putin has spoken for all Russians and opted out. Russians will end up living like Cubans. Or Iranians. Or Venezuelans. Many will blame the U.S. But that's false. The U.S. is just the largest gang in the capitalist mafia system. Almost no one in the World agrees with Putin SMO except his own brain-washed Russians ;)

No one is forced to be in the capitalist mafia. Anyone can leave. But to come back you need to de-militarize and PLAY NICE. Germany did it. Japan did it.
