There's no way for me to prove that what you're looking at is theater. If you're not curious, there's nothing I can do.

You may be COMPLETELY correct that the drones were headed to the Knesset, etc. I am speculating. But consider...

First, where are the videos of Israelis coming out of their homes in Jerusalem and showing a hole in their roof from a falling drone?

If a drone is flying over the outskirts of Jerusalem going somewhere else and it is shot down would you know where it was headed?

If events are as I suspect, that a few days after the 4/1 attack Iran said what it was going to do how would you expect the Israeli government (or any government!) to handle the event?

No government gives military information without a POLITICAL purpose. I've been following the Ukraine war for almost 3 years now and I know nothing more, than I did in the beginning, what's happening on the ground, what's blowing up, where it's launched from, etc. What Ukraine or Russia says, all vetted by their governments first. There's no "spin" like that given on military conflicts.

You follow military issues for long enough and you get used to their narratives. They give the least amount of information and NOTHING is reported unless absolutely necessary.

Because Iran said it was launching drones many hours before they arrived Israel HAD to make it look NOT LIKE whatever it was. Rather, they would want it to appear exactly like they wanted, not what it WAS, but what they wanted it to LOOK LIKE.

Again, nothing I can say that will convince you what you saw is theater. Maybe you're right and it was exactly what it looks like. It would be first for me ;)
