They've been modeling fusion for decades, where are those power stations? They've been modeling AI for decades, how come Google doesn't know I'm in a car when I'm traveling 60mph using their "walking" directions; they've been modeling flying taxis, where are they? They've been modeling a vaccine against Covid and a lot of other viruses besides--why do we still get sick?
Some model why hyperloop will never be safe; why do they keep at it? Some model why Tesla's will never be cheap, they do they keep promising cheap ones?
I doubt you get on an airplane because someone has modelled how it should work. You get on one when you know it's been testing in the real world 7 ways to Sunday and back. Starship hasn't flown. No model can prove it will.
No model can prove how long an algorithm will take in a computer. Modelling is guessing with statistics.
The scientific method is not based on models but the empirical testing of those models. A model by itself is just a crackpot theory about how something SHOULD behave.
