This is an old story. At the beginning of the invasion of Gaza, Biden tried to convince Netanyahu not to go into Gaza all guns blazing--if I remember correctly (remember what I though Biden said). Most people I believe saw what could possibly happen, and did happen. Indeed, happened beyond even my worst case scenario.

We now live in a new world where bombing residential buildings is acceptable. It is no longer, in practice, a war crime. Just another Tuesday.
