This is why many people laugh at PhDs. Useless or not, both those kinds of analysts end up influencing policy (obviously, if we look at the results). Let your analysis speak for itself. Taking potshots at other chefs doesn't make one's cooking better or worse. You do you; let them do them.

How can someone trust your analysis when you write things like "I'm...deeply educated in the matter." Aren't you doing exactly what you're criticizing? "By the book". I'm sorry to keep hammering on you Tim but it doesn't matter how smart one is, if they insult people it goes to waste.
