This made me laugh, "imagine". You give Germany too much credit. All they thought about was their Aryan superiority. Jews, like Gypsies and others were just in the way of that goal of purity. You really think anyone involved in the Holocaust thought about Jewish history? They saw powerless people they could rob from and kill. That's what they did.

The Lithuanians were slaughtering Jews before the Germans even arrived! I love your work Nadine, but you cherry pick a lot when it comes to history that involved Jewish people. Much of Europe was killing Jews regardless of what Germany was doing. Russia too!

That's the truth. The truth isn't there were these specific German antisemites who did it all. That it was antisemites (which wasn't a word back then). That all we have to do is identify antisemites and take away their jobs.

The history is messy and doesn't simplify into some simple story about evil antisemites and good everyone else.
