Time is now on Ukraine's side. Mud works for the defender. Also, if Ukraine attacks now and the Prigozhin show goes off the air we'll never get the final season we're expecting. Big offensive? June or July. Also, if Ukraine attacks too early it must hold regained territory in weather that is easier for Russia to keep attacking. Perfect timing would be to capture the territory just before mud season begins again.

Finally, I get the sense that Russia is turning a corner politically. In that show of trucks leaving Crimea was one laden with lumber. I'm sure Putin never ordered that since getting finished lumber into Crimea is probably expensive. Tells me more and more Russians recognize that Putin is done.
